Our days of a non childproofed household are numbered. Harvey has been putting a lot of R&D (Research and Development) into moving. And speaking of moving… Last night was his first night in his own room. Lights were out by 10:30 PM, feedings at 1:30 and 4:30 (yawn), and he was up and ready to go at 7:30. He took a nap at 9:30 AM and right now he is in the middle of his afternoon siesta. I think we are actually on the verge of a schedule, HOORAY! The number of awake hours have increased quite a bit and he is developing a new skill – self-amusement. Meanwhile our new digs allow us to keep the computers, wires and important paperwork in the “Study”, away from the soon-to-be-mobile-puts-everything-in-his-mouth baby. Also, we have stored all of the baby gear in the BABY ROOM instead of under the piano. Harvey even has his own closet, which, by the way, is already filled with all of the gorgeous clothing that people have given him. Thanks, Debra, for the fancy padded blue baby hangers to showcase his Hollywood Wardrobe. Did I mention that Harvey’s stuff also monopolizes half of our chest of drawers (we have to go buy him his own bureau). They warned us. Really, they did!
