Yesterday when I was up to my ears in paperwork, I suddenly realized that Harvey had gotten VERY QUIET. When I looked around the livingroom for him I noticed that the front door had been left open. UH OH!! Next thing I knew I was in the hallway trying to track him down and I found all of my neighbors' mail had been removed from their doorsteps. some of it had been strewn about, and some was still being dropped like breadcrumbs from my little culprit! "Harvey!" I exclaimed as I scooped him up into my arms. He giggled. I don't care what people say, babies are not as innocent as you'd think. That giggle was full of mischief. Bottom line - stealing mail is a Federal crime. I guess we can say that Harvey has accomplished another "first"; First Felony.

christmas is coming and we have no picture!

harvey LOVES the tree! He squeeled with joy when he saw it. He went up to the tree and touched the yellow light bulb. then he went for the wise man ornament, removed it and put it with his toys. next he removed the wooden bird house. then he went over to the bookcase and proceeded to read his books. it was very cute. i tried to take pictures for the christmas card and they were dumb. we just can't seem to get a good christmas picture because harvey keeps falling down and getting scratched and bruised; either that or he has runny nostrils...bah humbug!
