Jerry Springer? Harvey...please!

We have been so careful to shield our baby from TV. On the two-page typed instruction sheet for the revolving door of babysitters, there is in bold print "No TV while Harvey is awake". The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no television whatsoever for children under 2. They stress that the most important thing is to have human interaction with the parents. Yet, in any given day, two-thirds of the kids under 2 are watching TV and videos and doing it for an average of over two hours. Somehow Harvey got his hands on the remote and flipped the right switch. Funny how he figured that out so quickly. I am really starting to wonder about his "private" life. For example, how did his frog puppet wind up on the porch in the sopping rain the other day? How did his sippy cup get into his father's sock drawer? And where, pray tell are the spare keys to both cars and the storage locker???!!!! My mother warned me about all of this... Posted by Picasa
